The 2018 CFP Allstate Sugar Bowl Game will be hosted at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, LA, on January 1, 2018 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Sugar Bowl is one of the 5 NCAA Football bowl games: Fiesta Bowl, the Rose Bowl Game, Orange Bowl and the CFP National Championship Game that is played at one of the bowl sites.
The Sugar Bowl is an annual NCAA football bowl game with the top SEC team with another football team. The Sugar Bowl is currently sponsored by Allstate, and was previously sponsored by Nokia. The Sugar Bowl has been played in the Lousiana Superdome since 1975, before that it was played in Tulane Stadium.
Throughout the years the Sugar Bowl became so popular that it became part of the CFP championship series, an honor that only five college bowl games can claim.
The Sugar Bowl is one of the four host venues for the College Football Playoffs (CFP), and as a holiday-time tradition dating back to 1935, the Sugar Bowl, or Allstate Sugar Bowl as it was renamed in 2006, is very familiar to American sports betting fans.
